The Sr. Deal Desk Analyst applies developing professional expertise to support deal structuring, pricing, and contract coordination across the quote-to-cash process. This role partners with Sales, Legal, Rev Ops, Finance, and Accounting to ensure deals are accurately structured, priced, and executed in alignment with company policies. The Sr Deal Desk Analyst contributes to deal analysis, system updates, and reporting while operating within established guidelines. Work is performed with moderate independence, with a focus on building business acumen and deal support capabilities.Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Review and process a high volume of complex commercial deals, ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant with pricing policy, and commercially sound.
Evaluate deal requests for discounting, non-standard terms, and approval requirements; route for sign-off per the deal approval matrix.
Partner with Account Executives and Sales Managers to structure deals that balance customer needs with internal guardrails.
Request, manage, and review order forms, quotes, and proposal packages for accuracy prior to customer delivery.
Identify and resolve deal blockers in a timely manner, maintaining SLA responsiveness while supporting deal velocity.
Maintain clean and accurate Salesforce and CPQ records, flagging discrepancies between SFDC and contracts. High level of SFDC intelligence.
Support the Senior Analyst(s) and Director on escalated or complex deal reviews as needed; liaison with Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Product as needed.
Contributor to ongoing team documentation including process guides, FAQ resources, and policy updates.
Assist with period-end reporting and ad hoc analysis on deal trends, approval rates, and discount metrics. Other projects and deadline driven tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, finance, or related business operations roles
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
Solid understanding of SaaS pricing, quoting, and contract processes
Experience with Salesforce and CPQ or other quoting tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate ambiguous deal situations
Willingness to learn complex product and pricing structures
Desired Skills:
Experience in SaaS or other financial technology environments
Understanding of SaaS Sales and Contracting operations
Familiarity with quote-to-cash processes
Exposure to financial analysis or deal profitability concepts
Experience supporting reporting and data analysis
Intermediate to Advanced Excel, GSuite, and SFDC skills
