The Senior Deal Desk Analyst is a key member of the Americas Deal Desk team and is responsible for supporting deal governance, deal structuring, quote review, and execution of complex or non-standard sales transactions across the Americas region.
Reporting to the Deal Desk Manager, Americas, this role partners closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Product Management, and Business Systems to help structure commercially sound deals that align with company policies, revenue recognition requirements, margin objectives, and customer needs.
The Senior Deal Desk Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to the field, helping accelerate deal velocity while maintaining strong pricing discipline, approval rigor, data accuracy, and cross-functional alignment throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Executives, Sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to structure, review, and approve complex, high-value, or non-standard deals across the Americas region
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales on deal construction, pricing strategy, commercial terms, approval requirements, and quote-to-cash processes
- Review quotes for accuracy, completeness, policy compliance, revenue recognition considerations, and alignment with approved pricing, discounting, and deal structuring guidelines
- Escalate high-risk, high-value, or policy exception deals to the Deal Desk Manager, Americas, Director of Global Deal Desk, and other senior stakeholders as appropriate
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work – demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency, accuracy, and impact within Deal Desk workflows
- Identify recurring deal friction, policy gaps, system issues, and process inefficiencies; recommend and support scalable improvements across quote-to-cash workflows

This is a remote eligible position. Candidates who live within a 45 mile radius of Boston, MA; Detroit, MI; and Denver, CO will be required to work hybrid (2 days per week) out of our Dyntrace office.
What will help you succeedMinimum Requirement
- 3+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, Order Management, Commercial Operations, or a related function
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
Preferred Requirement
- Experience within a SaaS company highly preferred
- Experience supporting complex B2B software or SaaS transactions, including new business, renewals, expansions, and non-standard deal structures
- Strong understanding of pricing, discounting, approvals, commercial terms, revenue recognition considerations, and quote-to-cash processes
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, CPQ tools, and Excel or similar analytical tools
- Advanced experience with Salesforce CPQ or similar enterprise quoting platforms
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate deal economics, discounting, price realization, and margin impact
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex policies and approval requirements clearly to Sales and cross-functional partners
- High sales empathy – moves quickly, communicates proactively, and knows how to be a partner rather than a gatekeeper
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, attention to detail, ownership, and strong work ethic

DOE, salary $95K - $120K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
