Job DescriptionThe Senior Content Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in executing the firm’s content strategy and governance to elevate thought leadership and identify strategic campaign opportunities. Working closely with business development, communications, and attorneys across the firm, this role serves as the central authority for content intake, review, and approval workflows, ensuring alignment with firm priorities while enabling cohesive campaign execution that strengthens client engagement, highlights the firm’s capabilities, and enhances brand visibility.Duties and Responsibilities

·       Content Management & Governance: Lead the content intake and governance process by reviewing submissions, aligning content with relevant practice groups, identifying appropriate reviewers and approvers and ensuring timely approvals.

·       Campaign Planning: Develop comprehensive campaign plans including cross-promotion, re-distribution, and lifecycle extension of content while overseeing end-to-end campaign execution across channels, including website, email, social, events, and aggregators.

·       Editorial Strategy: Build and maintain a firmwide editorial and campaign calendar to ensure consistent workflows, strategic timing, and alignment with business goals.

·       Performance Measurement & Reporting: Lead ongoing content and campaign performance analysis to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve visibility and performance.

·       Best Practices: Stay current on industry best practices and ensure adoption by communicating standards and enforcing content development guidelines.

·       AEO, SEO, GEO & Optimization: Use best practices and analytics to improve content performance, visibility, and discoverability across firm channels and LLMs.

·       CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner with business development, communications, and events teams to ensure alignment with firmwide initiatives and delivery of a consistent brand and campaign experience.

Skills and Educational Requirements

·       J.D. strongly preferred, Bachelor’s degree required.

·       7+ years of law firm experience in content development or campaignfocused marketing.

·       Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive stakeholders and nonmarketing audiences.

·       Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools.

·       Experience with AI-driven marketing tools and legal tech platforms.

·       Strong understanding of digital storytelling and design systems across platforms.

 

For New York City, Chicago and the Washington DC metro areas, the expected salary range for this position is between $155,000 and $175,000.   The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $150,000 and $165,000.  This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.   The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
