Key Responsibilities:
Advise senior stakeholders on developing and enhancing enterprise capabilities by introducing best practices, tools and technologies to support data-driven decision making and continuous experimentation at scale.
Collaborates with business leaders and stakeholders to identify key challenges, opportunities and goals. Ensures that technology strategies align with overall business objectives.
Leads the design, execution and management of experiments that test new concepts, technologies, and applications of AI, Immersive Experiences, Quantum Computing, and other emerging capabilities.
Acts as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment with responsibility to communicate complex experimental findings.
Establishes best practices and frameworks to ensure consistency, quality and scalability across business units. Provides guidance and mentoring to cross-functional teams on the use of technology to solve business challenges.
Creates and maintains detailed documentation of each experiment, capturing key insights, methodologies, and best practices to form the foundation for future initiatives and serve as a reference for scaling and streamline the process of moving from experimentation to full-scale adoption.
Actively participates in daily scrum meetings, grooming meetings, project status meetings, sprint planning and review meetings.
Drives near term milestone planning to help manage interdependencies and coordination across development teams.
Oversee timelines, resources, and budgets for experimentation projects ensuring that experiments are executed efficiently and delivered with high-quality insights within defined timelines.
Drives continuous improvement in the experimentation process, adapting methodologies to ensure that each experiment builds on the last and delivers actionable insights that support scaling.
Works closely with engineering, design, product, and business teams to ensure that experiments align with organizational goals and customer needs. Supports these teams in iterating on features and incorporating feedback from experiments.
Stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the business.
Drives continuous innovation by identifying opportunities that improve business processes.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Director, Applied Technology and Emerging Capabilities. This is an individual contributor.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in business, human-computer interaction, engineering, user experience, product management and design, computer science, or related fields.
Experience: Typically, 10+ years experience in project management or experimentation, with a background in technology, product development, or innovation. Experience in managing iterative experiments, pilot programs, or prototype development is highly preferred. Experience with agile delivery methodologies and product management/owner principles. Requires background in both business and technology environments.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proven understanding of key digital technologies, existing and emerging. Demonstrated understanding of agile delivery methodologies and product owner/manager practices. Knowledge of user experience principles and practices a plus. Insurance and Financial Services industry knowledge a plus. Strong understanding of business processes, strategy and operations across multiple domains. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus around technology solutions. Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex business and technical scenarios. A collaborative mindset and strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
