About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with proven written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, and solid technical aptitude to join our Enterprise Systems team. The Business Analyst plays a critical role in translating operational goals and objectives into functional and technical requirements. Success in this role will require someone with a diverse skillset, allowing them to take on the role of a project manager, technical lead, business partner, and a support analyst when required.

This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of business-critical technology projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization (including Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Operations, Data, and Engineering) to objectively assess business needs and recommend effective technology opportunities and solutions for business stakeholders. 
  • Act as a strong advocate for the business by actively engaging with stakeholders to understand their challenges and needs ('Voice of the Customer'). 
  • Facilitate strategic alignment and accountability with stakeholders, assess operational gaps and opportunities for process improvement and automation, drive team efficiency.
  • Utilize Agile principals to drive process standardization, including comprehensive documentation, including user stories, UAT test plans, and clear acceptance criteria for QA.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Oversee post-implementation engagement, support, and training to end-users of technology solutions.
  • Proactively communicate with project team members and stakeholders to align priorities and foster early buy-in. Track project progress, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and issue reports to stakeholders and senior management. Escalate, troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end users on a timely basis.
  • Manage the delivery of Salesforce solutions, including system configuration, customization, and integration with other systems. Ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure/compliant and follow technical best practices. 
  • Serve as a strong problem solving partner, leveraging domain knowledge and proactively learning business processes to inform the creation of effective requirements.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Systems/IT delivery and support of application services and managing complex, cross functional technology projects.
  • Demonstrated mastery in system configuration and customization within Salesforce and providing support for both Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. 
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and navigating competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical and business information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to use structured problem solving and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root cause, create action plans, assess impact and develop resolution options.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science, Information Technology
  • Hands-on experience with finance projects and Quote/Lead to Cash processes, leveraging Salesforce CPQ
  • SCRUM and Agile certified
  • Salesforce Admin and/or Platform App Builder Certification
