The Marketing Operations and Marketing Technology Intern collaborates closely with Corporate Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales teams to bring products to market. You will maintain data integrity, perform analyses, and assist with automation functions and/or website optimization. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing operations.
What You'll Do
Marketing Operations Intern
Maintain data integrity in Salesforce and Marketo
Assist with campaign setup and execution across channels
Support lead acquisition efforts and database management
Partner with Product Marketing to build audience segmentations
Contribute to lifecycle and automation workflows
Use spreadsheet functions to normalize and reconcile account data
Perform analysis to measure marketing campaign effectiveness
Help maintain dashboards, reports, and campaign documentation
Provide insights on engagement, conversion, and campaign performance
Support A/B and multivariate testing to validate campaign quality
Identify areas for optimization within campaign workflows
Document processes, reporting standards, and system guidelines
Marketing Technology
Conduct AI research and prototyping to support emerging martech initiatives
Create and maintain martech documentation for tools and processes
Contribute to reporting and analytics to measure technology performance and usage
Support tool and process improvements to enhance marketing operations
Assist with quality assurance and testing of marketing systems and integrations
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in marketing, marketing analytics, consumer behavior, or a related program
Preferred Qualifications
Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Be self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
Work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously under pressure
Experience with reporting and analytics
For Digital Marketing: Possess working knowledge of Drupal or other web content management systems (CMS); HTML experience; experience with CSS and Bootstrap
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Minimal travel
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
Sponsorship Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
