Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to join the Content Operations team as a Specialist. Our team is responsible for content management activities that support DISH and Sling's multi-platform video business.
This position has responsibility for operational support of the video content that comprises both DISH and Sling's domestic and multicultural video businesses. This role serves as a liaison between our partners and the internal business and technical teams; focusing on video metadata, artwork, and content operations while collaborating with individuals at many levels of the organization. In addition to teams such as technical operations, product management, and engineering, this individual will work closely with many of our programming (e.g., A+E Networks, NBCUniversal, Warner Bros. Discovery) and metadata aggregator (e.g., Gracenote) partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support processes for Video On Demand (VOD) content on DISH and Sling platforms, including launch, maintenance, and removal; effectively collaborate with internal and external partners, ensuring compliance with enterprise best practices and contractual guidelines
- Play a pivotal role in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving metadata and artwork issues
- Actively monitor the progress of resolution; keep management, internal stakeholders, and external business partners informed of progress on a regular basis
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure high standards for the display and organization of Video on Demand content
- Generate and interpret reports on key metrics to identify areas for improvement and opportunity; apply these insights to enhance products and the overall customer experience
- Employ creativity and critical thinking in problem-solving, focusing on both short-term and long-term solutions as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and 1-3 years of relevent experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Self-starter with strong data management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple requests, working both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with management to present information in a professional and effective manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, emphasis on Excel and Sheets
- Knowledge of the pay television industry is a plus
