Our Solution Architect role will design and oversee the development of procurement solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals and operational requirements. This role requires expertise in procurement processes, pricing strategy support, and integration strategies to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. The Procurement Solution Architect will act as a bridge between business needs, sales objectives, and technical execution, ensuring optimized procurement workflows, pricing capabilities and system efficiencies.

What can you expect to do?

Sales and Pricing Support

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and align procurement systems to support tailored pricing strategies.
  • Develop tools and processes to automate pricing configurations and manage pricing agreements within procurement platforms.
  • Provide real-time procurement and pricing insights to support sales proposals and negotiations.
  • Work with finance and sales teams to ensure pricing structures are optimized and compliant with company policies.
  • Knowledge of contracting terms, conditions and pricing strategies
  • Competence in managing projects from design to delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Analytical skills to support competitive pricing models and profitability analysis.
  • Experience in agile and waterfall project methodologies

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams, sales, and IT to gather and understand requirements.
  • Translate business and sales requirements into technical specifications and actionable deliverables.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to procurement and sales leaders on technology trends and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills to resolve complex business and technical challenges
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops, presentations, and requirement-gathering sessions

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure procurement and pricing solutions comply with regulatory, security, and organizational standards.
  • Develop documentation, guidelines, and training materials for end users, including sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governance related to procurement and pricing

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement whether in consulting delivery, sales support and/or business development
  • Proven track record of managing multiple sales prospects with both short and long sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to scope and price the following which are examples but not limited to:
    • Assessments, strategic sourcing (scope development, RFx development, proposal assessments & contracting), Supplier performance program development, organizational transformation, contract management, managed services, staff augmentation.
  • Must possess expert-level skills in creating charts and graphs, and creating MS PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and reporting.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive in building strong relationships with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Accuracy in designing, documenting, and reviewing procurement solutions.
  • Ability to spot inefficiencies and potential risks in processes or systems.
  • Ability to guide the organization toward innovative procurement practices and technologies.
  • Support team members and share expertise to build organizational capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives to drive adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify and address client needs by: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities, and communicate value propositions; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and ,defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection

The pay range for this role is $149,700 - $269,400. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: February 28, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; paid time off accruing at a rate of 3.07 hours during your first year of employment; 4 weeks of paid parental leave; in 2025, 11 company-paid holidays (9 fixed holidays and 2 optional floating holidays), subject to change yearly; 401(k) retirement plan; and employee stock purchase plan.
