Job Description

As a Catalog Optimization Specialist, you'll support the maintenance and enhancement of our product catalog to drive customer savings and improve monetization. You'll work behind the scenes to identify vendor sources, action pricing updates, and ensure our substitute products are accurately represented for smart optimization decisions. You'll play a key role in optimizing live orders—analyzing real-time data to recommend substitutions or adjustments that maximize revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction and fulfillment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Add or update vendor pricing and availability for high-volume and high-impact SKUs
  • Map product substitutes and suggest viable alternatives
  • Execute catalog enhancements to reduce customer friction and improve fulfillment rates
  • Partner with the Data team to QA product enrichment initiatives
  • Source information from vendor sites with speed and accuracy
  • Identify optimization opportunities that improve customer savings or Order.co revenue
  • Implement impactful time-of-order optimizations and facilitate live quotes to vendor contacts

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Detail-oriented executor with a knack for spotting inconsistencies in data
  • Strong written communication skills and follow-through
  • Comfort navigating e-commerce sites and vendor portals
  • 1+ year in data entry, merchandising, operations, or e-commerce preferred
  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and comfort learning new tools
  • New York based candidates strongly preferred
