Why this role exists:

Our Sales team opens doors, you show prospects what’s possible. Model builders come to TaskUs with problems no one has solved before: jailbreak detection for a model that shipped this morning, drift monitoring for a brand-new agent stack, or adversarial testing at billion‑token scale. AI Safety Solution Engineer, you’ll take these “never‑been‑done” tasks, invent a path forward, and prove we can deliver even as the AI tooling landscape reshapes itself daily.

The impact you’ll make:

• Increase win rates: Provide creative, technically sound solutions that help AEs hit their booking targets.

• Shrink the sales cycle: Deliver thorough scoping and pricing in hours, not weeks, so customers can keep shipping.

• From sketch to kickoff: Hand over well-defined architectures and targets, and work together with Delivery to stay on track as tools change.

Experiences you’ll bring:

• 5+ years in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting for AI/ML, data, or security services.

• Supported $1 M+ enterprise deals, including RFP/RFI responses and SOW ownership.

• Hands‑on with LLM evaluation, MLOps, or trust‑and‑safety tooling.

• Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Core skills you'll need:

• Creative problem‑solving: Thrive on undefined challenges and craft novel, feasible approaches.

• Clear communication: Tailor narratives for engineering deep‑dives or C‑suite briefings.

• Technical depth & breadth: Fluent in data pipelines, evaluation methods, and integration patterns.

• Rapid prototyping: Build proofs‑of‑concept in Python and modern ML frameworks under tight timelines.

• Effort estimation & pricing: Translate concepts into resource plans and margin‑aligned numbers.

• Relentless learner: Track daily AI‑safety advances and fold them into your toolkit.

Nice to have: Familiarity with AI‑safety standards (ISO 42001, EU AI Act), LangChain/LangGraph chops, or experience in BPO/outsourcing environments.
