About the Role:
CrowdStrike’s AI Innovation team is growing, aiming to deliver new capabilities in additional product spaces. This team is at the forefront of prototyping new AI-driven security capabilities for a wide variety of products, as well as empowering our own engineers with AI acceleration. We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the team and drive new research and development efforts. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions driven by machine learning and AI that enhance our cybersecurity offerings and accelerate our team. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive industry experience and technical expertise, and will collaborate with a variety of functions across engineering, CTO office, and product. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering in charge of AI-focused technical incubation.
What You'll Do:
Lead the development of innovative AI-driven solutions from concept to first product version.
Design and implement cloud-based products and prototypes, with a focus on leveraging GenAI technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine business requirements and define KPIs and use cases.
Drive the development process through all stages, from initial ideas to production-ready implementations.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions into production environments.
Stay current with the latest advancements in AI-related cloud technologies.
Educate colleagues on topics of AI and innovation, and contribute to the overall growth of the AI Innovation team.
What You’ll Do:
5+ years of hands-on experience in building cloud software for the security market.
Past experience in building AI-driven products.
Deep technical expertise in cloud-native development workflows, including Kubernetes, Python, microservices architecture, and AWS/GCP services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and lead projects from conception to completion.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus Points:
Experience in the cybersecurity industry or with security-related AI applications.
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $135,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.For detailed information about the U.S. benefits package, please click here.
