Estimated annual base pay: $77,000(minimum) - $100,000 (midpoint) - $123,000(maximum)

Senior Engineer

Estimated annual base pay: $93,000 (minimum) - $121,000 (midpoint) - $149,000(maximum)

Engineer II

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Software Verification: Cooperates in creating test methodologies and running tests, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams: Works closely with product, QA, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of software projects with business objectives.
• Resolve Technical Issues: Identifies, analyzes, and addresses moderately complex technical problems, utilizing technical expertise and available resources to implement effective solutions.
• Mentor Junior Engineers: Provides informal guidance and support to new team members, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing team capabilities.
• Ensure Quality Standards: Maintains high quality standards by reviewing code, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring adherence to best practices and project requirements.

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in current software development languages and tools essential for the role.
• Problem Analysis: Ability to analyze and solve moderately complex technical problems using available data and experience.

Senior Engineer:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Software Verification: Cooperates in creating test methodologies and running tests, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
• Develop Best Practices: Establishes and maintains software code for testing to optimize performance and ensure high quality code.
• Resolve Technical Challenges: Analyzes and troubleshoots complex software issues, leveraging diverse information sources to implement effective solutions.
• Mentor Team Members: Provides guidance and support to less experienced engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge sharing environment.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Communicates and coordinates with cross functional teams and subject matter experts to drive project success and build consensus on technical solutions.

Key Skills:

• Advanced Programming: Experience with National Instruments' LabVIEW and TestStand is a plus; Python language programming experience desirable.  Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to the software engineering field.
• System Architecture Design: Proficient in designing scalable, robust, and maintainable software architectures.
• Complex Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges using innovative approaches.
• Project Leadership: Skilled in leading software development projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Technical Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to junior engineers and fostering their professional growth.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborating with multiple teams and departments to achieve project objectives.
• Best Practices Implementation: Applying industry best practices and standards to optimize software development processes.
• Testing Knowledge: Conducting testing using SIL and HIL for electronic controls or other devices.
• Consensus Building: Facilitating agreement among stakeholders on technical solutions and project directions.
• Technical Communication: Clearly conveying complex technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Other Qualifications:

• 4 Year Bachelors BS degree AND 4+ years equivalent experience

• International - Bachelors BS/University degree equivalent by Country AND 4+ years equivalent experience
