Position Summary
Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in manufacturing through cutting-edge data technologies? We're looking for a Software Implementation Engineer to lead the technical delivery of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software projects for some of the world's leading Food & Beverage companies.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and deploying high-performance MES solutions by leveraging your deep expertise in SQL development, data historians, and system integration. From writing stored procedures and optimizing database performance to configuring data interfaces with enterprise systems, you'll be at the heart of scalable, mission-critical implementations.
What You'll Do:Take ownership of MES project implementations—from planning through go-live—ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Develop and manage complex SQL solutions, including:
Writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
Designing and maintaining databases via Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Integrate MES systems with data historians and manufacturing platforms to ensure real-time visibility and traceability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to align solutions with production needs and digital transformation goals.
Follow our ISO 9001-certified systems engineering methodology to deliver consistent and compliant project outcomes.
Receive full training and ongoing support in Orbis application software.
Proven experience in MES, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems implementation.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and SSMS.
Experience working with data historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI, Wonderware Historian) in real-time industrial environments.
Strong grasp of database design, optimization, and integration with third-party systems.
Familiarity with software delivery lifecycle and implementation best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.
