AMP is hiring a Robotics Software Intern in-person in Louisville, CO reporting to the Senior Robot Software Engineer.
As our Robotics Software Intern, you will:
- Develop software that runs on our waste-sortation robots to improve their performance
- Develop testing approaches to validate improvements
- Iterate on solutions in our robotics lab
- Present your designs, features, and results to the engineering team
The successful candidate will be:
Required:
- Programming knowledge in a memory managed language like C++ or Rust
- Passion for making the world a better place to live
- Ability to commute to work at our Louisville office
Preferred:
- Experience working with hardware/software systems in a project capacity
- Intuition for mechanical systems
Education:
- Currently pursuing a graduate OR undergraduate degree in a robotics related field
Experience:
- None required outside of education
