AMP is building the infrastructure that will power the future of recycling through AI-powered sortation services and automation at scale. We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead the strategy, systems, and partnerships that enable AMP to scale. This leader will architect and operate a world-class supply chain organization including strategic sourcing, contract manufacturing, demand planning, logistics, and lifecycle service operations.
This role sits at the center of AMP’s growth—partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure the company can design, build, deploy, and support full-scale AI powered facility solutions. The Director will play a key role in building the backbone that supports AMP’s next phase of global expansion.
As our Director, Supply Chain you will work to:
- Lead and execute the strategic vision for AMP’s global supply chain, building the systems, processes, and organization required to support rapid growth, large-scale system deployments, and international expansion.
- Provide executive leadership across procurement, strategic sourcing, demand and supply planning, contract manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
- Develop and lead global sourcing and supplier strategies, establishing long-term partnerships that ensure quality, scalability, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership to embed design for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience into product development while managing lifecycle transitions including ECOs and phase-in/phase-out planning.
- Own the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, aligning demand forecasts, deployment schedules, manufacturing capacity, and supplier lead times while developing forecasting and inventory strategies that balance working capital with operational reliability.
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain organization, implementing scalable systems, analytics, and KPIs to optimize supplier performance, inventory efficiency, logistics operations, and service parts availability.
The successful candidate will have:
Required:
- 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting complex electromechanical systems, robotics, automation, or capital equipment.
- Demonstrated success in high-mix, low-to-mid volume manufacturing environments.
- Deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and commodity management.
- Experience working with globally dispersed teams and operations.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and global suppliers.
- Strong understanding of SIOP/S&OP processes and demand planning methodologies.
- Proven track record of inventory optimization and working capital improvement.
- Experience managing NPI launches and product transitions.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
Experience:
- 15+ years of supply chain experience with at least 10 years of which in a managerial role.
