Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the quality of high-performance, user-friendly web applications, and a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application testing issues.
- Adhere to high-quality testing principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
- Debug and report issues across services and multiple levels of the stack with an eye toward improving maintainability and reliability over the long term.
- Improve testing standards, tooling, and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Required Skills
- 5+ years experience with Cypress E2E testing
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Jest unit testing experience
- Test coverage tools (NYC/Istanbul)
- API testing experience
- Test automation best practices
- CI/CD integration experience
- PDF/document testing experience
