Social Media Website Content Specialist  

Social Media Website Content Specialist responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across LV Petroleum's social media channels and its associated website, ensuring consistency, engagement, and alignment with marketing goals. 

This role sits between a pure content creator and a marketing strategist. The specialist develops and executes content strategies for our social channels, producing posts, managing editorial calendars, and ensuring quality and brand voice consistency across platforms. He/She will also integrate social media content for our website to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and manage monthly social content calendars, aligning brand goals and audience insights  
  • Write platform-native copy (captions, scripts, story text) and create visual/video assets for all active platforms  
  • Analyze post-performance weekly/monthly to identify top-performing content types and topics  
  • Develop recurring content series to build audience habits and brand recognition  
  • Optimize website content for SEO and social sharing, ensuring it complements and supports social media campaigns  
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions; foster audience interaction  
  • Use analytics tools to track engagement, reach, conversions, and generate insights for strategy refinement  
  • Work with marketing, design, PR, and customer service teams to integrate social media into broader campaigns  

Requirements

Required Skills 

  • Strong copywriting, editing, and communication abilities to produce compelling, brand-aligned content  
  • Ability to create own content in Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Proficiency in interpreting social media and website  
  • Knowledge of major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)  
  • Ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines  
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional coordination skills  

Typical Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, or related field  

Experience: 2–4 years in social media or content marketing  

Familiarity with SEO, paid social advertising, or content management systems
