The Social Media Manager will lead the development of enterprise brand social media campaigns and help coordinate alignment across the UnitedHealthcare lines of business. The role will report to the Director of Digital Content Strategy on the Enterprise Brand Marketing team.

The Social Media Manager will lead the development of enterprise brand social media campaigns and help coordinate alignment across the UnitedHealthcare lines of business. The role will report to the Director of Digital Content Strategy on the Enterprise Brand Marketing team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead social media content calendar and development for Brand campaigns and key content moments to include:
- Lead social media content calendar and content development to support enterprise marketing campaigns, educate on using healthcare benefits and highlight key health care moments
- Ensure creative is designed to support the ad objective and social media platform best practices, with a message and call-to-action that considers the audience and channel insights where it's delivered
- Partner closely with Brand digital content manager and uhc.com digital team on content needs that sync with social media campaigns
- Input social media content calendar, digital assets, and campaign tracking links in enterprise marketing collaboration software
- Create paid social media schedules outlining ad objectives, ad duration, creative testing, audience targeting and investment. Review social ad campaigns in flight for learnings
- Create reports measuring social media ad performance compared to benchmarks and provide insights to help inform future social media campaigns
- Develop collaborative working relationships with other social media leads in the business and Social Care on content calendar, brand consistency, and best practices, as well as other internal business partners and external agencies
- Demonstrate UnitedHealthcare cultural values in day-to-day execution

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a social-first marketing or digital content role
- 5+ years of Microsoft office suite experience including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management skills with the ability to develop and implement multichannel consumer marketing campaigns
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and their content formats including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Commitment to staying current on emerging social and digital trends, audience behaviors, and platform capabilities; willingness to test and iterate approaches
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry
- Experience working within a matrix organization and a team player
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools
- Comfort navigating ambiguity with flexibility and confidence
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities from inception to completion
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills and comfort presenting ideas to stakeholders
