Create engaging social media content, primarily for TikTok, optimize performance, and manage multiple accounts while testing different formats and strategies.
About Us
Life is better when you’re with friends.
Our product studio was founded on this belief. Each day we get to wake up and invent new products that help us deepen friendships and make new ones – products we want to use with our friends. We are backed by a16z and dozens of the best angel investors in the world, and we have years of runway, which allows us to stay heads down and aim big. Our first product, Clubhouse, has become a home for millions of people around the world – who use it to meet new friends, have fun and join amazing conversations throughout the day. We expect that our next products will use AI to bring friends together in ways never before possible.
If you are a talented builder who’s interested in joining us, we’d love to talk.
Overview
We’re looking for a scrappy, Social Media Content Creator to join us in a contract role. You’ll create engaging content and run high-velocity content experiments across different audiences, messages, formats, and styles—pushing to identify what grabs attention, drives engagement, and sparks action. You’ll report to the Head of GTM and work closely with a small, fast-moving team.
What You'll Do
• Rapidly test combinations of audience, message, niche, format, CTA, and tone—on TikTok primarily, possibly other channels
• Create and publish multiple pieces of content daily — ruthlessly hunting for signal and optimizing for performance
• Spin up and manage multiple TikTok and Instagram accounts targeting different audiences or experiments
• Be the on-camera face of the content—comfortable speaking, performing, adapting, trying weird stuff
• Create both face-forward and faceless content, using editing tools and workarounds as needed
• Share learnings daily with the go-to-market and product teams
Who You Are
• You already make TikToks and Reels and have created viral content (or just know you can)
• You live and breathe online trends and have a strong sense of what works and why
• You’ve got strong video editing chops (e.g. CapCut) and do some light design (e.g. Canva)
• You have experience using social media schedulers like Later
• You’re obsessed with what makes people click and follow—and relentless about chasing performance
• You’re a high-quality writer and can “speak” TikTok and Instagram
• You have experience using social media analytics to decide what to post next or kill what’s not working
• You are confident on camera and willing to be weird, bold, or unconventional
• You have the stamina to generate and post multiple pieces of content daily
• You’re high-energy, self-directed, and comfortable being the face of fast, experimental content
• You have access to a phone and/or other recording device with a high-quality camera, editing tools, and a reliable setup for regular filming
Details
• Timeline: 2–3 months, full-time contract (40 hours/week)
• Location: Remote (US only)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate dependent upon experience
