Job Description

Position Summary

The Little Nell Social Media Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s digital narrative through high-impact, visually stunning, and editorially refined content. This role requires a highly skilled content creator with advanced photography, videography, and editing capabilities, paired with the ability to craft sophisticated, on-brand copy across all social media channels. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable taste, deep storytelling instincts, and a passion for delivering luxury experiences through digital platforms. This position reports to the Director of Influencer Marketing & Social Media.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $61,000 to $85,400. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit original photo and video content that reflects the brand’s luxury standards and elevates its online presence
  • Draft engaging, brand-aligned social copy that complements visual content and drives engagement
  • Develop and manage a robust social media content calendar aligned with broader marketing campaigns and brand storytelling objectives
  • Ensure consistent visual and tonal representation of the brand across all digital touchpoints
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions with poise, timeliness, and alignment with the brand’s refined voice
  • Analyze social performance metrics and adapt strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Collaborate with internal Aspen One teams (creative, brand marketing, PR, hotel operations, etc.) and external partners to identify content opportunities and ensure cohesive messaging
  • Stay ahead of trends in luxury lifestyle, hospitality, and digital media to ensure brand relevancy and innovation
  • Support and amplify influencer collaborations and UGC (user-generated content) strategies.
  • Coordinate with Aspen One Creative team leadership, photographers, stylists, and designers when needed for larger-scale shoots or campaigns
  • Maintain a well-organized archive of digital assets, ensuring content is accessible, rights-cleared, and reusable
  • Represent the social media function during brand events, activations, and shoots, ensuring optimal coverage and content capture
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related creative field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing social media for luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle brands

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient and proven expertise in content creation, including photography, videography, editing (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Asana and/or FIGMA
  • Advanced knowledge of social platforms, analytics tools, and content scheduling systems
  • Exceptional aesthetic sensibility with a portfolio that demonstrates luxury-standard photography and video work
  • Proficiency in planning, managing, and executing projects within scope and deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to embody and maintain a distinct brand tone
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage content production independently from concept through execution
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to the dynamic nature of hospitality marketing
  • Proficient knowledge of current trends and how to apply them within the company
  • Ability to prioritizes and plans work activities; using time efficiently
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; applying feedback to improve performance
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate changes and progress
  • Ability to develop strong working relationship with those contacted in the course of work
  • Ability to work autonomously - self-starter who is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage several projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

Work Environment & Physical Demands
•    Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
•    No adverse or hazardous conditions
•    Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
