About the Role
The FareHarbor Sites Team Lead, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) role is responsible for managing, mentoring and providing guidance to the FareHarbor Sites CRO Team members, including Project Coordinators, CRO specialists and Copy specialists. You will work closely with the SEO Team Lead, SEO Manager, CRO Manager and Performance Marketing Manager, Account Managers, and other Sites Team Leads to facilitate achieving department goals and objectives. This role is responsible for setting targets and driving operational success for clients in contract with FareHarbor sites commercial website packages. This individual will have experience with modern CRO tactics, best practices and experiments as well as experience leading teams in a fast paced atmosphere. This individual will have a good understanding of the tools and processes the team uses to help identify UX/UI-specific inefficiencies in our clients’ websites and assist with implementing data-driven solutions. This individual will be proactive and highly motivated to continue taking on new projects as well as explore new opportunities that could further grow the Conversion Rate Optimization Team. Leadership work will be balanced with individual work on website projects.
What you’ll do here:
- Manage a team currently made up of 6+ reports.
- Be a subject matter expert on live CRO services, process and strategies and be able to speak intelligently to other teams about our process, procedures and goals.
- Be a subject matter expert on measurement platforms like GA4, Crazy Egg, Mixpanel and MS Clarity, as well as data visualization platforms like Looker Studio and Tableau
- Be a product owner for CRO toolset stack and manage installations/integrations
- Assist the SEO, CRO and Performance Marketing Manager with conducting team meetings, including organizing the necessary slide decks or content for meetings
- Assist in tracking department metrics and objectives. Report findings and insights to the SEO and CRO Manager.
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members in tandem with the Sites Trainer and Manager.
- Help with creation and roll out of new global processes, including material development, conducting training, and updating department resources
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from global meetings and client requests.
- Maintain a working knowledge of basic SEO and PPC best practices for collaboration across teams
- Oversee the paid package queue alongside SEO Team Lead, assigning Project Coordinators and specialists (SEO, CRO, Copy) and ensuring intake details are accurately captured and prioritizing client requests as necessary
- Ensure direct reports adhere to timeframes and schedules, and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Be able to speak openly to other teams about processes, procedures, and goals while learning and providing what they need from leadership.
- Work closely with the SEO, CRO and Performance Marketing Managers to ensure the teams are applying the best solutions for upcoming industry changes (whether those are platform changes, best practice trends, global legal changes etc.)
- Listen and learn what challenges the team/s are facing and effectively communicate ideas and solutions to the relevant stakeholders to solve those issues
- Deliver guidance and oversight on maintaining and updating project management system reporting to meet the current and future needs of the team
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of CRO strategies, tools & best practices in an enterprise setting, able to translate data into actionable website changes
- Able to balance multiple projects and deadlines at the same time
- Must have exceptional organizational skills
- Experience working at a SAAS, B2B Software company and/or Marketing Agency
- Must have high attention to detail to ensure numbers are reported accurately
- Motivational leader that enjoys coaching others to help them succeed in their role
- Ability to pivot to changing needs as well as work on tight deadlines calmly and confidently
- A strong collaborator and team player willing to go above and beyond expectations to ensure the success of FareHarbor
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in business or related field of study. (Preferred)
- 1 - 3 years experience leading or managing a CRO, Analytics or relevant product team
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Experience building CRO strategies across a client base and utilizing tools like GA4, Crazy Egg, MS Clarity, Looker Studio and Mixpanel
Bonus Points:
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS (Wix, Squarespace, etc.)
- Experience with Airtable or other project management software
- Have experience with HTML and CSS
- Have a desire to improve and grow within the organization
- Competency in Google applications including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

Salary Range: $77,760-$116,640, plus 10% bonus potential
