OnePay is the consumer fintech trusted by millions of Americans to make money better.
Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We’re fixing it. And we’re moving fast.
We’re an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.
We’re backed by Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech’s most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.
But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
Ready to run
Hungry and driven by urgency
Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
Comfortable operating in motion
Experience Design at OnePay shapes how millions of people interact with their money. The product touches saving, spending, borrowing, and growing wealth – often for people the traditional financial system has underserved. That weight raises the bar on craft. The details matter because trust is what we’re building.
We work fast and ship continuously. We’re a small, senior team with roots at Apple, Meta, Ford, Airbnb, and leading fintechs – low ego, high craft, and genuinely collaborative. AI is a baseline part of how we work, not a future we’re talking about.
The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Visual Creative Lead to drive visual craft inside the app. You’ll set the standard for how the product looks and feels – icons, illustration, interstitials, color, motion – and translate inputs from across the org into a cohesive visual direction.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be designing, directing, and raising the bar at the same time. You’ll show the way through the work itself, help ideas ship, and make things better at every stage.
This is not a brand creative director role. You’ll partner closely with the Creative Brand team, but your focus is the visual expression inside the product – fast, iterative, and built for a product team that moves.
What we’re looking forYou ship. You’d rather get something real in front of people than polish in isolation. You know when to refine and when to release.
You lead through the work. You direct by making, not by deck. Your point of view shows up in what you produce.
You’re AI-native in how you create. AI tools are already in your daily practice. You see them as a creative partner, not a threat or a novelty.
You think in systems. You design at the level of patterns, not just artifacts. Consistency at scale is something you architect, not something you hope for.
You translate well. You take inputs from product, brand, leadership, research – and turn them into direction the team can rally behind.
You operate independently. You don’t need a creative director above you. You’re the one others look to for the call.
A portfolio that shows range across digital product, illustration, and motion – and a clear point of view in how you put it together.
Experience working inside product teams, not just alongside them.
Active fluency with AI design tools and a clear sense of how they change creative production.
Fluent across the modern visual stack: Figma, motion, AI generation.
Comfort operating at the intersection of brand, product, and engineering.
Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
401(k) plan with company match
Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact
