Job Description
Position Overview:
Content shapes customer trust and emotional connections with their money and personal data. We're seeking a Sr. Content Designer to elevate content across our B2B and B2C markets through strategic audits, recommendations, and compelling writing.
6+ month contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent
As our Sr. Content Designer, you'll be central to product development and communication, collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, marketing, brand, researchers, and legal teams. You'll ensure cohesive messaging across all digital touchpoints—in-app and SMS messaging, push notifications, and email—while partnering with product management and design system teams to define our content vision and strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration with internal partners and stakeholders across all levels.
- Expert in content audits and strategic recommendations that drive measurable improvements.
- Demonstrate empathy-driven writing with a portfolio showcasing workflows, templates, style guides, and standards across product content types.
- Shape and evangelize fintech content standards that enable teams to create consistent, compliant messaging.
- Manage multiple projects with speed and precision, balancing fast execution with meticulous attention to detail.
- Champion data-driven decisions for business and customer needs using logic and evidence over opinion.
- Passionate about A/B testing, experimentation, and analysis to optimize content performance.
- Thrive in ambiguous environments, embracing failure as learning and continuously improving processes.
What You'll Bring:
- Have 8+ years of end-to-end content design experience including auditing, optimizing, writing, and delivery of product experiences for fintech products. You love the big picture as well as hands-on writing and editing.
- Are a skilled communicator, influencer, negotiator—with excellent verbal and written command of the English language.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or another relevant field.
- Have a proficient understanding of design principles and methods.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles
- Experience researching, choosing and implementing an enterprise CMS to populate and maintain dynamic content in a cross-platform digital experience.
- Background in financial literacy education or designing for financial wellness a plus
