Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds.  We are the first and current market leader in tokenizing exposure to US Treasuries and are continuously rolling out new tokenized real world assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.  We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.

About the role

Our Front-End / Web team is focused on building high-quality web applications and user experiences that reflect and expand upon Ondo's brand. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about crafting visually stunning and highly interactive user interfaces. You will work closely with both design and engineering teams to create rich front-end experiences with animations, interactions, and a high level of attention to detail in design elements.

Additionally, you will be responsible for working alongside the rest of the Web team in managing and updating our design system library based on evolving design requirements and ensuring consistency across our web applications. You will incorporate rich user interactions where appropriate to enhance engagement and usability.

This position requires Front-End expertise, so strong experience in React/TypeScript is a must.

Responsibilities

• Implement pixel-perfect UI components and user experiences that align with design specifications and brand guidelines.

• Develop and maintain a robust design system library, ensuring consistency and scalability across all Ondo web applications.

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate high-fidelity designs into responsive, performant, and accessible web interfaces.

• Enhance UI with animations, transitions, and micro-interactions to improve usability and engagement.

• Optimize front-end code for performance and accessibility, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices and browsers.

• Work closely with front-end engineers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in front-end development, design trends, and interaction design best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of design excellence and technical quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on UI/UX design implementation.

• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (TypeScript), HTML, and CSS.

• Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.

• Experience working with and managing a design system, ensuring consistency in UI components and patterns.

• A deep understanding of modern front-end development principles, including performance optimization and accessibility best practices.

• Ability to create and implement fluid animations, transitions, and micro-interactions using CSS, GSAP, Framer Motion, WebGL, or similar libraries.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.

• A dedication to continuous learning and a commitment to best practices across the Frontend technology stack.

• A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of typography, spacing, and layout.

• A strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools for interpreting and translating designs into functional components.

Nice to haves:

• Bachelor's degree or significant coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

• Demonstrated interest in crypto — building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or whatever excites you in the space.
