The Senior Training Specialist designs, develops, delivers, and continuously improves enterprise learning programs that support employee onboarding, leadership development, technical training, and organizational capability. This role partners with leaders to assess training needs, build scalable learning solutions, evaluate program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. The position serves as a learning subject matter expert and provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring on enterprise training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify organizational skill gaps and development priorities.
- Design, develop, facilitate, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using assessments, surveys, performance metrics, and business outcomes.
- Recommend and implement improvements to training programs, content, and delivery methods.
- When necessary, lead and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs. Coordinate onboarding activities including learning plans, systems access, equipment, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with People Operations, managers, and subject matter experts to develop training materials and job aids.
- Maintain accurate training records, reporting, and learning documentation.
- Coach and mentor peers or junior training staff and lead enterprise learning initiatives.
- Support compliance, quality, leadership development, and other People Operations programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or organizational development.
- Experience conducting training needs assessments and designing learning programs.
- Highly reliable. Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze learning data and make evidence-based recommendations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with employee onboarding programs.
- Experience using LMS and HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Experience mentoring others or leading cross-functional learning initiatives.
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $78,000 - $98,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
