We are looking for a powerhouse Senior Technical Program Manager to orchestrate our most critical engineering initiatives and elevate our delivery standards to the next level.
The RoleAs a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) at JumpCloud, you aren't just tracking tasks—you are the operational engine behind our product delivery. With a solid foundation of 10+ years in the tech industry, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs from conception to successful deployment. You will seamlessly navigate between deep technical execution and high-level strategy, ensuring our SDLC/PDLC processes are lean, efficient, and highly predictable.
If you are obsessed with tracking work to absolute closure, driving transparency, and leveraging modern AI workflows to optimize execution, you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Program & Portfolio Management: Own the execution of complex, multi-team technical programs. Manage the portfolio roadmap, ensuring all dependencies, risks, and blockers are proactively identified and mitigated.
Agile Evangelism: Act as the operational backbone for our engineering teams. Run high-efficiency Scrum ceremonies, Sprint Planning sessions, and manage Kanban workflows tailored to the team's needs.
SDLC/PDLC Optimization: Continuously refine and scale our Software/Product Development Life Cycle processes to ensure high-quality software is shipped predictably and securely.
360-Degree Communication: Bridge the gap between teams. You will communicate horizontally across engineering, product, and UX peers, and vertically to provide clear, data-driven status updates and strategic insights to executive leadership.
Relentless Execution: Drive accountability across teams. You don't just note down blockers—you smash through them, tracking every deliverable until it reaches absolute closure.
Strategic Planning: Lead and facilitate quarterly planning cycles, ensuring engineering bandwidth aligns perfectly with corporate milestones and product vision.
Future-Proofing Execution: Actively leverage modern AI tools to automate administrative overhead, optimize sprint data analysis, draft technical summaries, and supercharge your day-to-day productivity.
What You’ll Bring (Requirements)
The Experience: 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS, Cloud, or Identity & Access Management (IAM) environment.
Agile Mastery: Deep-seated expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban. You know when to follow the framework and when to adapt it for practical velocity.
The Closer Mindset: A proven track record of bringing massive, chaotic projects to a successful, orderly finish line.
High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Exceptional communication skills. You can explain complex technical risks to non-technical stakeholders and translate business priorities for engineering teams.
Toolbox Experts: Master-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence for roadmap visualization, tracking, and documentation. Fluent in Google Workspace for collaborative productivity.
AI-Forward Thinker: Comfort and curiosity around utilizing modern generative AI utilities to optimize your workflows, analyze program metrics, and streamline communications.
Bonus Points If You Have:
A strong technical background (former engineer, architect, or technical lead).
Prior experience in the Cybersecurity, IAM, or Directory Services domain.
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or CSP.
