Job summary
This role sits within DigiCert’s Product Management organization as an individual contributor. You will be part of a highly performing team delivering core functionality for DigiCert’s Public Trust platform and specifically our flagship product, CertCentral.
You will collaborate closely with our US and India-based teams of engineers, drive and execute roadmap, participate in release planning and backlog grooming activities, whilst working in an Agile way.
This role is ideal for candidates who have held a technical, engineering or software development role in the past. You come from a mature Agile-based background and are proficient in maintaining a customer-first and business-first mindset. You have a bias for action and produce excellent, complete epics and stories to move the product forward and foster cross-team collaboration and productivity. You have experience in one of the following areas: digital trust, public/private trust, TLS/SSL, PKI or network/website security, or an adjacent area. You are knowledgeable in working in highly regulated environments where Compliance and industry regulations inform and influence the product roadmap.
What you will do
- Lead your functional product area and drive requirements from concept to execution
- Guide and execute successful biweekly product releases
- Maintain a strong Agile iterative approach to product development
- You will be creating backlogs, writing epics & stories
- You will be hands on with the product and set up demo environments
- You will be comfortable presenting to all levels of stakeholders, including executive
What you will have
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years Agile methodology
- 5+ years with Confluence & JIRA
- S. in Computer Science or related discipline
- Background in digital trust, public/private trust, TLS/SSL, PKI or network/website security, or an adjacent area preferred
- Preferred previous experience in a technical or engineering role
- Excellent collaboration skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Customer-centric mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
