Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Software Test Engineer sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, CO.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship around testing, automation, and frameworks. Lead requirements and test design/case reviews, perform test case reviews with other team members. Develop and review test plans, and test coverage including scope definition, resource identification, risks and schedule. Design, create, and maintain load and performance test scripts. Execute exploratory test scripts. Coordinate and manage a single application project from a test perspective, including assigned resources and testing progress. Serve as gatekeeper for accepting code into an environment. Review progress with management/executives/stakeholders. Represent the test team in project status meetings and communicate issues appropriately. Define and implement new test strategies and best practices. Enhance overall management processes, including defect management. Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality goals and objectives. Mentor and support the growth of junior team members. Conduct and supervise projects/assignments, including evaluating results. Recommend changes in procedures.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, or a closely related field plus 7 years of experience in Load and Performance testing role or similar role. Also requires 5 years of experience using/ with the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
