About the teamWe are looking for a curious and experienced Fullstack Engineer to join our Platform team within the Scale vertical.
The Platform team is the backbone of our organization, driving the expansion and optimization of our platform to accommodate our growing user base. In the Platform function, your role as a frontend engineer will include leading and expanding on Enterprise foundations such as authentication, SSO/SAML, and access management, and bolster our platform reliability, performance and security practices. Your frontend expertise in this role is critical and will complement the team to ensure seamless integration of these new platform features, enhancing the overall user experience & stability of the platform. You will have the opportunity to own and contribute to critical platform initiatives that will be instrumental in driving meaningful impact and adoption of our product in the market.
- Leading development on frontend foundations for capabilities like SSO/SAML provisioning, audit log and access management (roles and permissions), and developer-facing tooling & management (observablity, real user monitoring, reporting etc)
- Building and maintaining core platform services and internal tools that enable Alloy engineers to move faster and more securely
- Contributing to platform APIs, reliability, and cross-cutting features like access control, observability, and CI/CD
- Collaborating with design, product and platform engineers to develop systems that scale across the engineering org
- Actively participating in frontend, testing and design system guilds to collaborate and improve frontend reliability and performance of our platform
- 5+ years experience as a frontend leaning full-stack engineer with meaningful contributions to platform user experiences
- Strong frontend experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React) and building reliable, intuitive internal tools
- Deep understanding of custom domain experiences, authentication, access control, observability, and CI/CD tooling
- Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent)
- Prior experience in platform engineering, internal tooling, or developer experience teams preferred
- Experience with SSO/SAML/SCIM or other provisioning/auth patterns, and familiarity with building tools for secure PII handling, test data, or permissions systems preferred

Alloy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package. Your recruiter will be happy to walk you through the details and what compensation could look like for you specifically!
This position has a salary range of $161,000 to $189,000.
