What you’ll do

As a Software Engineer, ML Product, you will work closely with product managers, clinicians, data scientists, and other software engineers to develop and ship clinical ML/AI products for enterprise health systems. You’ll play an important role to expand and scale our clinical AI module offerings with a high impact on our company revenue growth.

  • Productionizing Models: Collaborate with data scientists to accelerate our ML/AI model development and deployment to production.

  • Product Development: Implement backend APIs and ML services to enable our clinical AI products.

  • Data Pipelining: Design, implement, and deploy health data pipelines and services for the ML products that integrate with electronic health record (EHR) systems using FHIR and HL7 communication standards.

  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Clinical, and Data Science to drive alignment and deliver impactful technology that saves lives.

Minimum qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or other relevant technical discipline.

  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying ML-based products and services in production (Python preferred).

  • 3+ years experience in building and maintaining highly scalable and reliable cloud-based production ML systems (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) with relational databases (Postgresql, MySQL, etc.).

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience shipping ML/AI products in healthcare and/or at startups

  • Experience with health data, integration with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and health IT interoperability standards.

  • Excitement for Bayesian’s mission and being a bar raiser so we can accelerate the pace at which we create value.
