Position Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team, primarily focused on building robust and efficient transaction processing systems. You'll contribute significantly to ensuring our infrastructure meets stringent performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and uptime, crucial for delivering seamless financial services to our users. We're looking for proactive, technically skilled problem-solvers who thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to tackle complex engineering challenges. You'll also have the opportunity to impact other exciting projects within ether.fi, enhancing your scope of influence and technical growth.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable transaction processing services to support high-throughput, low-latency financial transactions.

  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including ECS, ELB, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Redis, and databases.

  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through thoughtful architectural decisions, robust testing practices, and proactive monitoring.

  • Collaborate closely with other internal teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

  • Drive improvements in our CI/CD pipelines, automation, observability, and monitoring systems to streamline operational efficiency.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining server-side applications.

  • 5+ years of professional coding experience.

  • Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts such as reliability, fault tolerance, data consistency, and scalability.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools: AWS (ECS, ELB), Kubernetes, Docker, and Redis.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with proactive engagement to address technical challenges.

  • Enthusiasm for joining a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.

  • Plus, if you are experienced in Blockchain or Web3.

  • Plus, if you are experienced in TypeScript, Next.js, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
