Position Summary
As a Senior Software Development Engineer for Enterprise Digital at Aetna (a CVS Health company), you will be a senior technical expert for a team building server/microservice/backends focused on delivering software that provides members with information, resources, and rewards as they make better informed decisions about their health care. You will build software following modern, lean agile processes and deploy continuously into the cloud.

Required qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of software development in enterprise services
  • 2+ years of experience in Java, spring boot and related frameworks

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile development practices
  • Experience in distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architecture
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or other public cloud services
  • Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goal
  • Expert knowledge of software engineering best practices with experience building complex software engineering products
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy or Healthcare domain
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
