- Deep experience building and maintaining server-side applications in Java.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as a regular part of your development workflow, including generating and refactoring code, writing tests, and debugging, while validating the output and owning its correctness.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and DevOps best practices, with a track record of improving them.
- Solid understanding of backend API systems, including RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, and microservice architecture.
- Comfortable with Git-based workflows, debugging across the stack, and shell scripting.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute in a collaborative remote team environment.
- Available to participate in an on-call rotation.
