Drive technical discovery with prospective customers, deliver product demonstrations, support proof-of-value engagements, and help customers successfully adopt Sysdig. Partner with support, customer success, and professional services teams while advising prospects on cloud-native application security. The role requires strong technical sales expertise, cloud and security knowledge, experience with containers and microservices, and the ability to manage multiple customers and present at industry events.

What you will do
- You will drive in-depth discovery discussions with prospective customers to understand their environment and associated needs
- You will deliver world class product demonstrations and assist customers with POV's and drive success
- You will interface with Sysdig support, customer success, and professional services teams to ensure Sysdig customers are power users of the product
- You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the security landscape and articulate the general challenges of securing cloud-native applications
- You will be a trusted advisor to customers and prospects, helping them navigate this new technology space
What you will bring with you
- 5 to 10 years previous experience as a Sales Engineer
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the technical sales process
- An expert understanding of Cloud and related technologies
- A history of success working directly with end users
- Experience balancing multiple customers while achieving positive outcomes
What we look for
- Virtualization, containerisation and microservices experience
- Certifications such as CISSP, CKA, CKS, AWS, GCP, Azure
- SAAS experience, ideally across multiple clouds
- Familiarity with CSPM, Container and Cloud security, IAC
- Experience presenting at industry events and meet ups

The U.S. annual on target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between $181,000 and 226,200 USD/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
