Our Boston-based team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can lead with both technical excellence and trusted client partnerships - particularly with the MBTA and regional transit stakeholders.As a Trusted Advisor & Project Lead, you will play a key role in both securing and delivering impactful rail and transit projects. You’ll bring deep knowledge of MBTA processes and priorities, and use your established relationships to help grow our presence in the region. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on building trust with clients, developing tailored solutions, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You’ll Do:
Serve as a trusted partner to MBTA and other transit clients, providing strategic insight and responsive project leadership.
Lead the development of new project opportunities, from early conversations through proposal development and interviews.
Manage the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Collaborate with technical experts and discipline leads across the company to shape smart, efficient project strategies.
Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication, transparency, and follow-through.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, helping them grow both technically and professionally.
Represent the firm at industry events, panels, and networking functions, helping reinforce our presence in the Massachusetts transit sector.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license required.
15+ years of progressive experience in the rail and transit sector, with a strong record of work with MBTA.
Proven success in both project execution and client engagement.
Deep understanding of public procurement, permitting, and design standards in Massachusetts.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with clients to shape transportation solutions that improve communities.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $140,000 - $200,000 annually for this position and local market.
