Position Responsibilities

  • Lead overall program execution, governance cadence, and stakeholder management.
  • Manage transition-in activities, knowledge transfer, and continuity risk controls.
  • Own deliverables management (daily/weekly/monthly reporting, plans, schedules).
  • Oversee staffing, shift coverage strategy, surge planning, and key-person risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate across SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, hunting, and specialized support areas.
  • Drive performance measurement (KPIs/SLAs), corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage financial controls and reporting (labor, travel, burn rate, variance explanations).
  • Maintain a program risk register and run a consistent risk burn-down rhythm.

Position Qualifications

  • Experience managing IT programs
  • Active PMP
  • Bachelor’s + 10 years project/program management (7 security-related) OR Master’s (security/business) + 7 years project/program management (5 security-related)
  • Industry certification related to security and/or incident response (e.g., CEH, GIAC)
  • Active Secret clearance may be required
  • Top Secret/SCI eligible
  • Ability to work well with others and demonstrate strong communication skills
