Summary:
In this role, you will manage the vision, development, enhancements, and overall strategy for products supporting Vizient’s high reliability organization consulting. You will oversee a complex product suite, partnering with multi-disciplinary development teams to guide sprint planning, user story refinement, and value proposition creation. You will collaborate across stakeholders to ensure product execution, align roadmaps, and deliver meaningful business and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall product strategy and enhancements, including roadmaps, business requirements, and product launches with minimal guidance.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through interviews, analytics, and research to shape vision and strategy.
- Oversee product execution by working with engineering teams to define backlogs and ensure effective Agile ceremonies.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to communicate value propositions and align on roadmaps.
- Manage product business planning and lifecycle priorities across multiple products to ensure market needs are met and differentiated value is delivered.
- Foster a culture of measuring success through product metrics and outcomes.
- Interpret data to identify opportunities and make recommendations to product leaders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to influence regulatory direction in areas such as interoperability and data standards.
- Partner with delivery, marketing, sales, and other business functions to establish launch plans and communication strategies.
- Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address technical and strategic challenges with innovative solutions.
- Contribute to evolving Vizient’s product operating model and advancing product management practices.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred; undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field desired. MBA, MPH, or MHA preferred.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience with survey tools or methodology highly preferred.
- Experience with data science-based projects preferred.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) preferred.
- Proven ability to drive product vision, strategy, execution, and launch.
- Ability to understand highly technical concepts while maintaining focus on business value.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Commitment to continuous learning and awareness of industry innovations.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
