The International Product team drives Hertz’s global digital strategy, delivering a seamless, localized, and high-performing customer experience across web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will own a key international product vertical, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including international business teams, legal, marketing, franchise, engineering, finance, and operations, to define product strategy, prioritize requirements, develop roadmaps, and execute global launches. You will oversee the full product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and UAT through implementation and performance analysis, ensuring digital initiatives enhance customer experience, support business objectives, and drive continuous improvement across Hertz’s international markets.
The starting salary is $150,000, commensurate with experience.
What You'll Do:
- You will help define and execute the International digital product strategy for Hertz owned and operated websites and mobile app experiences across global markets
- You will lead global rollout efforts for key digital capabilities, including reservations, value-added services, receipts, localization needs, and future site and app enhancements
- You will partner with international stakeholders, legal, marketing, franchise teams, engineering, finance, operations, and other cross-functional partners to gather, validate, and prioritize market requirements
- You will write clear business and product requirements, manage product roadmaps, align priorities across regions, and guide engineering teams through delivery
- You will coordinate UAT, manage launch readiness, secure final stakeholder signoff, and ensure successful implementation of global digital initiatives
- You will monitor project performance, analyze product data, report results to stakeholders, and use insights to recommend improvements that enhance customer experience and business outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of technical product management experience leading the end-to-end product lifecycle, including product delivery, roadmap strategy, prioritization, and balancing business and technical tradeoffs
- Proven ability to define and gain buy-in for innovative product visions while influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders (VP and C-level) without direct authority
- Experience partnering with engineering teams on technology strategy and decisions, with the ability to understand, discuss, and challenge architectural concepts, tradeoffs, and emerging opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive deep into product and customer data, develop effective strategies, manage ambiguity, and make high-impact decisions using experiments and data-driven insights
- Experience working in Agile environments and actively participating in Scrum teams
