Lead the growth roadmap for Skylight Plus, driving user acquisition, retention, and product development. Collaborate across teams to enhance user experiences and subscription performance.
The summary above was generated by AI

Skylight is a fast-growing technology company based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, building the operating system for families. Our products bring together calendars, lists, routines, and memories—helping millions of families stay organized and connected around the world.

Entirely bootstrapped, Skylight has scaled to hundreds of millions in annual revenue under founders who are former venture capitalists and serial entrepreneurs. And we’re just getting started: you will be stepping into a subscription business that is more than doubling year-on-year with strong customer sentiment and retention.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial product leader who thrives on talking to customers, crafting experiments, and wearing many hats. You’re naturally curious, data-informed, and motivated by building products that make a real difference in people’s daily lives.

In this role, you’ll report to our Chief Product Officer and partner closely with our executive, engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to make Skylight Plus one of the most loved, best understood, and highest-performing family subscriptions in the world.

Responsibilities

This is a rare opportunity to lead a 0→1 product team and define what Growth is at Skylight. At Skylight you will:

  • Own the growth roadmap: define and prioritize how we grow adoption of the family OS and Plus
  • Own key metrics: usage, engagement, retention, subscribers, attach-rate and ARR
  • Lead the effort to build multiple subscription tiers to support (not-yet-announced) new products
  • Educate & convert: Craft in-product messaging and experiments that increase understanding
  • Run trials & promos: Design and test trial structures, offers, and pricing strategies for Plus
  • Drive adoption: Boost engagement with Plus features through smart onboarding and ongoing value delivery.
  • Retain & win back: Reduce churn and reactivate lapsed subscribers through targeted interventions.
  • Define what growth means: set and build the growth culture at Skylight

Requirements
  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management and 2+ years in a Growth related role
  • You have a passion for technology & innovation and are excited by our mission to build the Family OS
  • You are endlessly curious and know when to get more data and when to make a decision and move ahead
  • You have a proven track record of building and shipping impactful features
  • You are able to independently navigate and execute effectively amidst ambiguity
  • You are able to balance the customer’s needs and the business’s goals
  • You have strong data analytics skills and a data-driven approach to building product
  • You are a strong communicator with an ability to simplify the what, why and how

Benefits

Our competitive compensation package includes:

  • Competitive Salary + Equity Package
  • 401K matching
  • Wellness, learning, and home-office budgets
  • Health, Dental & Vision Medical Plans
  • Tremendous autonomy to set the direction of your work
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Company holidays on the first Friday of every month (Except November & December)
