Position Summary
Does our mission to empower patients to live their healthiest resonate with you? Are you passionate about designing products that make healthcare better for patients and providers? Do you want to join a dynamic and innovative team that is shaping the future of healthcare? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Senior Product Designer position!
As our Senior Product Designer, you’ll own the end-to-end design process for our point-of-care ai experience, currently in beta. You’ll take an early product that’s already in the market and iterate, refine, and polish it into a best-in-class experience for clinicians. From shaping product concepts to delivering workflows that providers can trust, you will set the design standard for one of our most ambitious launches.
You’ll work as part of a dedicated product trio - alongside a Product Manager and a team of Engineers, ensuring design is central to how the product evolves and scales.
This role blends craft, research, and strategy: you’ll design in Figma, use vibe coding tools like Vercel and Bolt, run user sessions with providers, and translate research into intuitive experiences.
Areas of Responsibility
- Iterate on Product in Beta: Refine and polish our AI point-of-care product to meet clinician needs and prepare it for broader market adoption.
- Own End-to-End Design: Lead the design process from concept through delivery, ensuring cohesive experiences across the product.
- User Research & Validation: Conduct usability sessions on your concepts with the Product Manager and provider interviews to ensure designs solve real-world clinical challenges.
- Prototype & Test: Build prototypes in Figma/vibe coding tools (Vercel, Bolt) to validate ideas quickly.
- Creative AI Tools: Use AI-assisted design tools to accelerate workflows, explore innovative directions, and handoff to development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a product trio (Designer, Product Manager, Engineers) and across Marketing and Sales to align design decisions with product goals and market needs.
- Provider-Centered Thinking: Champion provider-centered thinking across Credo, ensuring doctor and clinician needs guide product direction.
Ideal Qualifications for this Position
- Product Design Ownership: 5+ years designing and shipping products end-to-end, ideally in SaaS or health tech.
- Research-Driven: Skilled at running user research and product usability testing to inform and validate your design decisions.
- Figma Expertise: Proficient with modern design tools and workflows (Figma, building design systems, prototyping).
- Vibe Coding Tools: Comfortable working with Vercel, Bolt, or similar tools to bring designs to life.
- Creative AI Tools: Familiarity with AI-assisted design and/or rapid prototyping tools to accelerate design, explore new directions, and handoff to development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working directly in product trios (Designer + PM + Engineers) as well as across Go-to-Market teams.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities that can change in an instant.
Bonus Points If You…
- Have experience designing for healthcare providers, EHRs, or clinical workflows.
