What you will do:  

The Senior Procurement Technology & Operations Analyst role helps design and deliver the procurement systems, data, and tools elements of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, working in conjunction with the other arms of the Procurement and Supply Chain function, as well as Accounting and Finance to ensure seamless P2P process flow. The role is also responsible for supporting all tactical and transactional procurement activities relating to the purchasing of goods and services in support of our business activities. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Procurement Technology and Operations, this position involves interfacing with external suppliers and internal stakeholders and will support the delivery of select P2P technology and efficiency-related projects. The role is required to assist and support daily interactions with internal stakeholders, conduct spot-buy processes, and facilitate P2P process improvement. The individual will also support the creation and publication of supplier and NetSuite user P2P Compliance and other data visualization and analysis, as well as the development and institution of best practices, in line with companywide growth objectives.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop an end-to-end understanding of Electra’s P2P processes including requisition and purchase order creation, post-order management, invoice payment and all system functionality that impacts these steps
  • Work with the Senior Manager of Procurement Technology and Operations for creation and documentation of workflows, templates and training materials as a subject matter expert in procurement processes, systems and policies
  • Help oversee the validity and integrity of procurement and vendor master data and manage data cleansing and analytical activities
  • Deliver departmental and enterprise level reporting through data visualization methods
  • Conduct training on systems and processes related to procurement activities
  • Support delivery of all aspects of the procurement process including development of best practices for P2P operations, procurement software enhancements and P2P process training
  • Responsible for accurate procurement platform content, availability of system content to end users, and supplier portals, as implemented
  • Drive continuous innovation and proactively identify areas for P2P process improvement, develop process improvement initiatives and implement process and customer service level improvements
  • Take a data-driven approach to P2P performance through development and analysis of KPI metrics
  • Utilize operational knowledge to proactively identify cost reduction opportunities to the Strategic Sourcing side of the Procurement and Supply Chain team
  • Oversight of Procurement transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance to Procurement policies
  • Identify solutions to stakeholder requests, follow through until open requests are resolved along with providing any necessary training and education
  • Serve as an escalation contact when system or service issues arise in regard to suppliers and/or with internal departments
  • Partner with Accounts Payables in relation to post order management to ensure accurate reporting and other financial commitments
  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders as required to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and procurement activities
  • Read, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

What we need you to bring to the team:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or related or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing or operations setting
  • Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Ability to work on complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, evaluating and adapting of complex technique
  • Resolve and assess a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach
  • Ability to adapt style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters
  • Ability to work independently where work is reviewed at critical points
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities

What we want you to bring to the team:   

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing or operations setting
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to convey advanced information and persuade other stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, exhibit a sense of urgency, and maintain equilibrium in a fast-moving and changing startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Professional certification, such as CSCP or similar

Compensation:   

  • The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $ 105,000-$125,000 per year, and may be more or less, depending on skills, experience, and education.
