Supports compliant, compelling cost proposals for commercial and U.S. Government R&D solicitations. Collaborates with proposal managers, system managers, subject matter experts, contracts, quality, procurement, and other departments to prepare comprehensive cost proposals and government-compliant cost volumes. Requires strong attention to detail, organization, stakeholder relationship-building, proposal pricing expertise, and flexibility to meet government deadlines.
The Pricing and Proposals Specialist is responsible for supporting a compliant and compelling proposal in response to Commercial and Government Research & Development (R&D) solicitation requirements. The specialist works closely with Advanced System Managers, Proposal Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and functional departments as necessary (e.g., Contracts/Subcontracts, Quality, Procurement) to develop a comprehensive and compliant Cost Proposal.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or similar field of study is required; however, we will consider candidates with additional work experience for the degree requirement on a 1:1 education vs years of experience basis
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant and progressive experience in similar roles is required
- Propricer Contractor Edition expertise
- Professional-level proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Extremely high attention to detail; highly organized and capable of balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to flex your work schedule from time-to-time to accommodate for government-defined deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders at all level
Preferred:
- Experience preparing US Government-compliant Cost Volume
- Security clearance preferred; Ability to obtain a security clearance is desirable but not required
