As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you'll join a collaborative and analytical team that directly influences pricing decisions, supports strategic initiatives, and helps shape outcomes for some of our largest customer portfolios. The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of hosted customer accounts and supporting strategic pricing initiatives that drive business performance. This role combines project management, analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and pricing expertise to optimize pricing outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support revenue growth objectives. The Senior Pricing Analyst serves as a key partner to Revenue Management, Sales, and internal stakeholders by providing insights, communicating pricing strategies, and influencing business decisions through data-driven recommendations.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own end-to-end pricing support for bidding opportunities, from initial intake through final submission.
  • Develop deal strategies that balance customer requirements, competitive positioning, and internal margin objectives.
  • Analyze pricing opportunities and support initiatives that improve business performance and pricing outcomes.
  • Share key portfolio insights and recommendations with peers and Revenue Management leadership.
  • Support training and onboarding efforts for new associates.
  • Lead or contribute to special pricing projects and strategic business initiatives.
  • Leverage critical thinking and analytics to identify pricing challenges, opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Partner with market and sales leaders to implement pricing tools, strategies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate across departments to drive consistency, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
  • Think like an owner by proactively identifying opportunities to influence business results and enhance pricing performance.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make sound business recommendations.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment while operating within established pricing policies and guidelines.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a proven ability to build relationships across teams and business functions.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities and a continuous improvement mindset.

What’s Needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of pricing, financial analysis, business analysis, revenue management, or related analytical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools, including MS Access or similar platforms.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.

What’s Needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Economics, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working for a supplier or distributor within a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of vendor deviations, rebates, or related pricing programs.
  • Experience with pricing software such as Vendavo, PROS, Zilliant, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Database tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL
  • Experience with interpreting Customer Legal Agreements/Terms
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in Salesforce.
  • Industry experience within office products, facility supplies, breakroom supplies, pack and ship products, or other distribution-based environments.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

The specificbasepay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
