About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

  • Coach managers through performance concerns, difficult conversations, team dynamics, and terminations

  • Partner with Legal and leadership on high-risk employee situations and investigations

  • Build scalable ER documentation, intake, escalation, and decision-making frameworks

  • Ensure consistency and fairness across organizational decisions and employee outcomes

Organizational Design & Workforce Planning
  • Partner with leadership on org structure, workforce planning, and team effectiveness

  • Support leadership through reorganizations, promotions, scope changes, and team scaling

  • Help identify organizational health risks, retention concerns, and manager effectiveness gaps

  • Build scalable frameworks around organizational planning and talent reviews

Onboarding, Growth & Talent Programs
  • Partner on onboarding strategy and manager onboarding effectiveness

  • Build scalable development and growth programs across the organization

  • Experience operating within high-growth organizations and scaling People programs

  • Strong employee relations and manager coaching experience

  • Experience building and running performance management processes

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, organizational complexity, and sensitive employee situations

  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to build processes from scratch

  • Excellent judgment and ability to balance employee experience with business needs

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to influence leaders and drive alignment across teams

  • Experience partnering closely with executives and cross-functional leadership

Applicants must be based in the United States.
