We're looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll operations at our fast-paced IT consulting firm. This role is critical in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe.

About the job:
- Managing accurate and timely processing of multiple semi-monthly payrolls for employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe for 350+ employees
- Ensuring the correct application of deductions, tax withholdings, and benefits
- Maintaining full compliance with all payroll-related local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations
- Administering and optimizing payroll systems, with a focus on Paychex, Payworks, and Remote.com
- Creating, analyzing, and maintaining payroll reports and records
- Identifying areas for operational improvement and leading payroll process enhancements
- Collaborating with HR on benefits programs and employee compensation
- Assisting the Finance team with bill reconciliation for self-funded health and welfare plans
- Monitoring and reporting on benefit funding, including FSA, HSA, and commuter benefits
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing accurate, timely documentation
About you:
- Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Excel at working independently and collaboratively across departments
- Are comfortable managing international payrolls in a fast-paced, consulting environment
- Are a strong communicator and confident leader
- Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for payroll accuracy and compliance
- 4-6+ years of payroll experience, including global payroll (U.S., Canada, U.K., Europe)
- Proficient in Paychex and experienced with payroll system administration
- Solid understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration
- Experience generating reports and supporting payroll audits
