Job Purpose

The Senior Paid Media Manager of SEM & High Intent Media who lives inside the ad platforms every day. This person will take extreme ownership of building campaigns, adjusting bids, designing tests, mining search term reports, and making in-platform changes multiple times a day. This role owns execution across search and other high-intent channels (e.g., paid search, Local Services Ads, Demand Gen, and PMax). This role will work in close partnership with the Director of SEM & High Intent Media as well as the broader performance marketing team and their media decisions feed their testing and funnel work, and their conversion and attribution insights shape how you buy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build campaigns, ad groups, and ads directly within Google Ads and Microsoft Ads — from account structure through keyword research, match types, and negative keyword lists

  • Own day-to-day execution across Paid Search, Local Services Ads, Demand Gen, and PMax, making platform changes when needed

  • Log in daily to manage bids at the keyword, ad group, campaign, and asset group level, adjusting manual or automated bid strategies based on real-time performance

  • Mine search term reports on an ongoing basis to harvest new keywords, add negatives, and keep account structure clean and spend efficient

  • Design, launch, and manage a continuous testing roadmap across ad copy, creative assets, audience signals, and bidding strategies — treating testing as a core part of the role, not an occasional exercise

  • Build and refine audience signals and asset groups (remarketing, customer match, in-market/affinity) and apply them directly within Demand Gen and PMax campaigns

  • Manage day-to-day budget pacing across all high-intent channels, adjusting caps, allocations, and dayparting/ad scheduling by hand as performance shifts

  • Take extreme ownership of campaign performance — proactively identifying underperformance and making the necessary in-platform changes without waiting for direction

  • Set up and maintain conversion actions, UTM tagging, and campaign naming conventions directly within the ad platforms

  • Build and maintain automated rules and scripts to manage bids, budgets, and QA at scale

  • Partner closely with the Director of SEM & High Intent Media to align testing priorities, channel strategy, and performance targets

  • Translate conversion, attribution, and funnel insights from the Director and broader analytics team into concrete in-platform bid, budget, and targeting changes

  • Monitor auction insights, impression share, and competitive activity across channels, adjusting strategy ahead of shifts rather than reacting after the fact

  • Diagnose and resolve tracking or conversion discrepancies at the platform/tag level, escalating to analytics or engineering only when a deeper fix is required

  • Stay current on new platform features, bid strategies, and ad formats (especially within Demand Gen and PMax, given their pace of change) and be among the first to test and adopt what works

  • Maintain clean, well-documented account structure and testing logs so decisions and results are traceable over time

  • It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.

  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on paid search experience with deep, proven expertise in Google Ads — including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and the Google ecosystem broadly.

  •  Expert-level command of Google Ads campaign architecture, Smart Bidding strategies, and keyword strategy across match types.

  •  Proven track record of delivering against performance KPIs at scale

  •  Solid command of measurement and analytics fundamentals, including Google Analytics, UTM tagging, conversion tracking, and attribution modeling.

  •  Experience designing and executing structured A/B and multivariate tests, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and drive action from results.

  •  Excellent organizational skills — you manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and workstreams simultaneously with precision and without things slipping.

  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting performance data and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  •  Experience with Microsoft Advertising (Bing) and/or media channels is preferred.

  •  Google Ads certification is a plus

Working Conditions

  • This role will sit in our corporate office in Irving, TX.

  • The salary range for this role is $125,000-$155,000. Salary is based on experience.

  • Regular use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.

  • Fast-paced work environment requiring frequent interaction with customers, internal departments, and field personnel.

  • May require flexibility in work hours to support multiple North American time zones.

  • Frequent interruptions and changing priorities requiring adaptability and effective time management.

  • High volume of communication through phone, email, messaging platforms, and scheduling systems.

  • May require occasional work outside standard business hours to support field operations and customer needs.
