As our Senior Operations Lead, you will partner with client representatives and your R1 team to perform detailed reviews of facility-wide financial and operational metrics with the goal of identifying and capitalizing upon opportunities for process, cost, and patient satisfaction improvement. Every day you will partner with line level client representatives and other R1 operators to perform detailed reviews of patient accounts with the objective of identifying cost, denial trends, and operations and patient satisfaction improvements. To thrive in this role, you will serve as a liaison for training and subject matter expertise on utilizing R1 workflow technologies and develop industry knowledge that serves as a foundation for career progression.
Here’s what you will experience working as a (position title):
Mitigate back-end revenue leakage through change management, lean process improvement, making recommendations for innovative software development, and advanced quantitative analysis on core financial metrics in the acute hospital environment.
Serves as a liaison for training and subject matter expertise on the utilization of R1 workflow technologies.
Interpret basic data sets and create data analyses to drive desired results in areas such as denials.
Continuously detect and resolve data defects within revenue cycle while creating solutions to prevent future defects.
Responds to ad-hoc client requests and develops solutions in a timely manner.
Coach client staff and managers to improve workflow and operational performance.
Provides value-add feedback to R1 leadership on development of project plans.
Prepares and presents information in large forums with executive leadership.
Required Skills:
Revenue Cycle Management experience.
Proven ability to look at the world through the eyes of others and interpret business needs in a way that drives the success of others
Attention to detail, highly organized and strong process-focused aptitude
Possess strong leadership and organizational skills and can positively influence others
Ability to think creatively, be analytically minded, objective, and independent
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and provide alternative business solutions
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Outstanding time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks while remaining self-directed
