Company Description

Who We Are:

We are an IT Consulting Solutions firm who fosters partnerships between Commercial & Government organizations with IT Professionals. We do this by collaborating with our customers to understand their culture and provide value by using integrity, flexibility, and repeatable quality processes. We were founded in 1996 in Denver and have numerous accolades including Denver Business Journal's "Top Software Developers , "Fastest Growing Companies , and Inc. Magazine's "Fastest Growing Companies in America .

Job Description

Senior .NET Developer

6 month CTH or possibly perm for the right person.

Are you the one who people come to for help with code issues or performance problems? Do you have a library of resources ready to use at a moment's notice (if you don't already know the answer)? Do you take great pride in bug free releases with a cutting edge application? If so, check this out...

The Team:

We have been challenged by our client to find the technical top 10% in Denver to join their development team that is comprised of passionate cross functional geniuses who, when they're not researching the latest development trends and practices, are developing cutting edge applications to help improve patient care. They don't want "What can we improve? they want "What if?

Your Role:

You will be working with a talented team of developers through full stack development initiatives geared at faster delivery schedules with higher quality and smoother processes. You will spend 80% of your time performing hands-on development, code reviews, and mentoring other developers to deliver on time and on budget. The remaining 20% will be testing and deployment of your code as well as design work.

Qualifications

What you bring to the team (these are non-negotiable):

  • A rock solid ability to create clean code with bullet proof documentation.
  • C#, ASP.NET, MVC and SQL Server 2012 is a must.
  • You should have a fair amount of UI experience, preferably with jQueryUI and/or Kendo UI.
  • Please have experience in at least a couple different web services.
  • Must have experience mentoring developers as either a lead or senior developer. And by leading, we don't mean barking orders. We mean sparking thought, empowering problem solving, guiding your team in the right direction for a solution and guiding them to self discovery for a solution.
  • Humility and curiosity are a must as they are staples of our culture.
  • Finally, you must be smart, possess the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and get along with your team mates (yes, we have a no a-hole rule).

Things we'd like to see but can be flexible if you've got the chops elsewhere:

  • Experience in something other than heads down development. (i.e. Responsive UI Design, Automation Testing, Brewing your own beer, etc.)
  • Experience in healthcare companies is cool (as long as you liked it).

Additional Information

What you get:

  • The ability to be part of the best. We don't take that lightly. Many Fortune X companies regularly try to pull our team away but we're all still here and growing.
  • You get paid well but it's not about the money for you. You get to showcase your innovation and creativity developing ridiculous applications for the rest of the industry to copy.
  • You get to enjoy a flexible environment with the ability to improve healthcare at its core.

What's in it for you:

Yes, we knew you'd want to ask that. Here's what's in it for you.

  • The chance to be part of a revolutionary team that will essentially change the way doctors and hospitals do business which will ultimately improve patient care, reduce costs, and increase positive patient outcomes (i.e. save lives).
  • You get to work for a company who believes in doing good, not for profit sake but for the sake of taking care of others. We believe in social responsibility.
  • You will gain (or increase) experience using the latest technologies as well as developing some technologies that will be used worldwide.
  • Oh yeah, you also get a hot downtown location, and much more.
