Job DescriptionAs a Senior Market Researcher, you will gather and analyze market data to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other business stakeholders to provide insights into customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends to help hone product-market fit. This role requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and curiosity about emerging markets and customer behavior.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research initiatives, from planning to execution and reporting.
- Partner with Product, UX, Strategy, and Sales teams to shape research priorities and methodologies.
- Translate complex data into strategic insights that influence product and marketing decisions.
- Design frameworks for competitive analysis and customer segmentation.
- Mentor junior researchers and elevate research standards across the organization.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and data modeling where appropriate.
- Drive adoption of insights by engaging stakeholders through storytelling and collaborative workshops.
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience leading end-to-end research projects, including scoping, methodology design, fielding, analysis, and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with an ability to select and execute the most appropriate approach based on business needs.
Adept at partnering with cross-functional teams—including Product, UX, Strategy, and Sales—to shape research roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, influence stakeholders, and facilitate adoption of insights across the organization.
Exceptional ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, strategic recommendations.
Capable of presenting insights through compelling narratives and visualizations that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques and data modeling (e.g., regression, segmentation, conjoint analysis, clustering).
Comfortable working with large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, or statistical software packages.
Experience mentoring junior team members and elevating the research practice through coaching, process improvement, and the introduction of new methodologies or tools.
A commitment to fostering a high standard of research quality and consistency.
Demonstrated ability to conduct competitive analysis and customer segmentation that inform go-to-market and product strategies.
Understands market dynamics and can anticipate trends that affect customer behavior and business performance

Salary Range: $93,136 - 115,235 USD
