Job Description Summary:
At Coca-Cola, we have a deep passion for people and for building lasting relationships, which are at the very heart of our business. There is no better role than elevating iconic, beloved brands that have been part of people’s lives for generations, while forging partnerships with one of the most critical retail customers in the world: Walmart. This role is an extraordinary opportunity to make a meaningful impact on market performance while representing brands that consumers love.
You will work closely with our integrated account team, global and national resources, regional bottler partners, and Walmart stakeholders. You’ll focus on operational excellence, bringing our brand strategies to life through flawless execution and ensuring sustainable growth in a highly competitive retail environment.
We’re looking for a driven and strategic leader who thrives on collaboration, is passionate about our brands, and excels at building trust and long-term relationships at all levels of Walmart and key internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Do for Us
Lead Walmart U.S. field sales operations, coordinating Coca-Cola system resources, bottlers, and retailers to deliver seamless program execution, accelerate sales growth, and optimize customer satisfaction through strategic initiatives.
Serve as the Coca-Cola system expert on Walmart's operational strategy, business systems, and positioning, ensuring cohesive alignment between our company, Walmart teams, and key bottler operations.
Strategize and execute localized business plans in partnership with Walmart’s regional management, Coca-Cola bottlers, and retail stakeholders, focusing on driving volume and profit growth through key initiatives and precision execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enable Coca-Cola’s marketing and operational programs, meeting budgetary targets and growing relationships across markets.
Manage price/package plans and performance, ensuring alignment with Walmart’s business goals and shopper needs while maximizing Coca-Cola's competitive position in the market.
Provide ongoing insights, communication, and feedback with both Coca-Cola system stakeholders and Walmart's field teams. Be the first point of contact for day-to-day operational challenges, problem-solving for bottler or retailer concerns, and delivering quick and effective resolutions.
Lead forecasting, reporting, and performance management across Walmart’s U.S. business with an emphasis on hitting strategic KPIs.
Bring a solutions-oriented approach to analyzing sales data, uncovering growth opportunities, and implementing innovations to exceed goals.
Promote a results-driven culture by fostering alignment, motivation, and trust among diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in key account or field operations roles, ideally within the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and grow relationships with large-scale customers, particularly in retail or grocery channels like Walmart.
Strong proficiency in managing price package architecture and understanding sales-related key performance indicators.
Experience working in a franchise system, bottling operations, or fountain environment highly desirable.
Track record of business development planning, leveraging industry insights to create value for a customer’s business while driving success for your organization.
Demonstrated skills in data analysis, decision-making, and effectively presenting persuasive recommendations.
A self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across multiple levels of stakeholders.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with Walmart field management and bottler partners.
